Welcome to our website!
Who we are:
Set up in 1984 as an autonomous local
group within the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV), we are now
members of the BTCV Community Network (www.btcv.org.uk). Our membership of
enthusiastic volunteers has worked effectively for over twenty years to improve
the quality of the local environment for community benefit. What we do:
Tree planting and maintenance ...
hedgerow restoration and management ... drystone walling ... ponds and school
nature reserves ... orchard management ... footpath management ... fencing.
These are just some of the jobs undertaken by the group each year.
